A school of theology in the university city of Moldavia.
The faculty prepares priests, social workers, icon painters and researchers for service in the Church and for careful work in the community. The study is academic, and faculty life stays close to the parish, the library and the studio.
Theology read with patience, spoken clearly and tested in practice.
Students follow courses in Scripture, patristics, church history, liturgics, moral theology, missiology, social work and sacred art. The library in Building T and the office on Lozonschi Iordache Street are where that course of study is kept, from the first semester through to the doctorate.
Three cycles, from initial formation to research.
The bachelor's degree covers pastoral theology, social work and sacred art. The master's degree adds counselling, the family, mission and heritage. The doctorate continues the school's research directions.

The sacred-art studio resumes work with first-year students
The first weeks are for drawing from plaster casts and for an introduction to preparing the panel. Visits to the studio are arranged with the department.
A symposium in patristic theology, November 2026
Three days of papers on reading the Fathers in the parish and in the doctoral school. Paper proposals close on 2 October.
The library has filled out its collection of theological periodicals
Bound volumes of Romanian journals, and a few interwar runs, have come onto the shelves this year. They are read in the room.
Theology is learned in books, but it is recognised in the way one person stands beside another.
